Treinando com Romero Britto

Depois de uma visita à galeria do Romero Britto em Miami (no ano passado), não pude sair de lá com o livro de coletâneas, mais um poster gigante do THE HUG. Saíram algumas releituras em quadros com o mesmo estilo colorido dele. Homenagem maior, não existe!!!

Abaporu is a painting in oil on canvas by Brazilian painter Tarsila do Amaral, painted in 1928 as a birthday gift to the Brazilian writer Oswald de Andrade, her husband at the time.

•  Sobre o The Hug:

 Romero Britto The Hugrraces twenty-seven, 40-foot-long, airport buses at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport. The wraps were created using graphic design and high-resolution printed vinyl that were mounted and sealed to the buses.

The hug was chosen from a few paintings submitted by Britto to an artist selection panel of the Broward County Cultural Council.
The original work of art, an 18-ft mural, lives in a private home in Fort Lauderdale.
